It's A Birthday Present! For you!

At 12.14pm CST today, I turned 25 years old. Yep, I've now lived a quarter of a century! And no matter how young you thing 25 is, surely that quarter-of-a-century part made me sound a little bit older, right?

In honor of my birthday - and because I really like presents, both received and given - I'm giving away a matching apron and chef hat to one of my blog readers! (That's you!)

My favorite Christmas memory is participating in the children's service at church and all of us singing "Go Tell it on the Mountain" really, really, really loud (and off-key).

My favorite Christmas memory is when I was younger and every year I got so excited for Santa to come that I got sick. LITERALLY got sick every Christmas to the point where I couldn't even play with my toys... it's my favorite Christmas memory because I'd give anything to have the magical belief of Santa again!

My favorite was one year, we went to pick out cookies from the bakery and then set them out with milk. EXCEPT. I didn't want to set them out for Santa, oh no...I LOVED Rudolph...so I left them for him. When I woke up I found a note, written on brown paper, from Rudolph saying how much he loved them! And signed with his hoof print :)

Oh, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas! I still get so excited for it!! LOL

I don't have a blog...so my email is kelciekoerner@yahoo.com :)

Hmm first off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Favorite Christmas memory would probably just have to be the family gathering part of Christmas we never get to do anymore. It was always so nice to have everyone in one place to catch up and the past year and to see my grandparents. I miss them =(

My favorite Christmas memory was when we lived close to our extended family (for about 5 years) and got together with one side Christmas Eve and the other Christmas Day. Warm cozy homes, big meals and fun presents.

My favorite Christmas memory was the year we lived in Australia. Everything about that Christmas was perfect and it's my earliest Christmas memory.

My favorite christmas memory is waking up on Christmas morning to find that my dad had put on "santa's" boots and carried deer legs around making santa and rudolph prints in the snow. My brothers and sister and I were so excited! Merry Christmas!

My favorite Christmas memory.I was really young, but I still have these two clear pictures in my mind. I woke up because I swore I had heard reindeer on the roof... and I was so excited I got up to tell my parents. And as I passed the living room the tree was lit up, lighting the room with its soft and magical glow... with the biggest mound of presents I have ever seen. Right in front was the barbie I had asked for. SO I continued just that more excited to my parents room, and I walked int and they both looked up and let me sleep in their bed and I felt so safe and happy.
By the next Christmas my parents were divorced, and the awkward and stressful Christmas shuffle became the norm... so I love that memory.

My favorite Christmas memory was waking up VERY early and running to my brother's room to see if he was awake yet- then we would open our stockings together before waking our parents up. "Santa" always put our stockings at the end of our bed to buy our parents a few more precious minutes of sleep on Christmas morning! :) gerolami19 AT hotmail DOT com

Every Christmas has been my favorite.. I LOVE the look on my kids faces when they see what's under the tree for them. They are always so amazed and thankful for what they get.

My daughter is getting an Easy Bake as one of her gifts this year.. she would love something like this. Do you sell these?

I think last Christmas would have to have been my favorite. It was the first year my niece was old enough to REALLY get into it. I have pictures of her sitting in her new camping chair, holding her puppy, listening to her new MP3 player, eating her Christmas cookie from her stocking, and putting her new muswips (chapstick) on her lips! (although looking back through the pictures I think she was more excited about Mommy's new crock pot than any of her things!)

My nephew also took his First steps on Christmas eve and we all had a riot watching him wolf down a Christmas cupcake in 5 seconds flat!

My christmas memory would have to be when my whole family goes to church on christmas eve and we have a candle light service. Watching each and every person light their candle as it goes around the room and hearing silent night in the background gives me goosebumps everytime, especially when the whole room is finally lit up. BUT i have to say seeing it last year as my oldest daughter lit her candle was the best memory so far.
~Hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas!

All these comments about Christmas Memories got me thinking about all of our family's Christmas Traditions. I blogged about them, and the contest here:

My favorite Christmas memory is from 2007. My son was just 19months old and had only been our son for 2 months. We got him up really really early because after 13 years of waiting for our "gift" he was finally ours and we were just too darn excited to NOT get up like little kids! LOL
Watching my son stuff his head half way down this GIGANTIC stocking full of little toys and candy and fun things was just heart melting goodness! Then he opened his first gift and giggled the best giggle ever heard...that moment I knew exactly how Mary felt the first time she looked into Jesus's eyes. My son, was finally here.

I think I missed your cut off, but I don't even care! LOL I love to share anything about my son! :)

I am sure I missed the cut off too but besides the Christmas that I woke up to a brand new baby girl, YOU! and the neighbors all came to sing Silent Night and other carols as we were all alone in Missouri with no family there and a BROWN CHRISTMAS, OUR FIRST EVER! and the church people came and the lady who had to take off your booties to play with your teeny, tiny toes!

but the other memory is my childhood when I wanted a "metal dollhouse" so bad and I was so excited to see my brother carrying in a flat box even though in my mind how could it be a dollhouse and he had to put it together and then we HAD TO LEAVE and go see relatives and all I could think of was getting home to play with the dollhouse!!! and playing with it for years and years since and I still love dollhouses! :)

Love you baby, my little Christmas baby!
