Masqueliers: School Pictures and Fun! | Indianapolis Child Photographer

I've known the Masquelier family for a few years now and I must say that Sarah has one of the most beautiful hearts I've ever seen. She is always striving to please the Lord in all she does and she's a great encouragement to me. When she felt God tugging on her heart to homeschool her children this year, she had no idea what to expect. "It's been hard...really hard," she told me yesterday, "but it's also been a blessing."

I offered to do some school pictures for her this fall and we had been putting off and putting off doing them for quite some time now. But with winter fast approaching, the time had come that they MUST be done. I'm pretty sure this is the first photo shoot on which I've taken my kids and now I know why. :)

Nevertheless....between the times when we were chasing after kids, shooing away neighborhood dogs, pushing swings, kissing boo-boos, and wiping away tears....we did manage to get a few good ones. :)

Here are my favorites...

Elijah suggested that he stand next to the shed out back. If you could see what he was standing in front of, you would probably gawk at this image, but ahhh, the beauty of a zoom lens.

I'm not sure if Abby smiled for many of the pictures, but she sure is beautiful, isn't she?

This little guy used to follow around my daughter and smash her head between his hands. Now she follows around her sister and does the same thing. Sarah, I'm blaming this on you. =P

This is "Tiny", the baby of the family. See where he gets his knickname?

Sarah, I had a great time with you and your family yesterday! But next time we do pictures, I will find a sitter for my kids!

First of all did you really post them at 5am? Second, they are truly beautiful. Of course their children are adorable, but those pictures are really good. Abigail looks like a little model.
