Trash the Dress - Sneak Peek!

Well, we were planning to do some dress-trashing in one of the downtown fountains after we did some portrait style fun photos but it turns out they turn those fountains off at a ridiculously early hour. So lo and behold, no trashing was actually done. But we did get some great portraits out of it and had tons of fun!

Last night, our family walked down to the neighborhood playground for a quick exercise time before bed. Since the sky was such a beautiful blue, I decided that I needed to take some photos of my youngest daughter.

I found to perfect place and set her down to take a few pictures. I thought she was fussing because she doesn't really care to sit in the grass. I thought her cry face was adorable so I kept taking pictures for at least a full minute before I looked down at her legs and realized I had set her in an ant pile! Oh dear. Thankfully we don't have fire ants here, but these were still ALL over her legs and crawling up her torso.

I picked her up, brushed off all the ants and put her back in the stroller. *Sigh*

Sorry, Reagan.

Yesterday I had the privilege of shooting Kacey and Kristen's engagement photos. They are the sweetest couple! Totally adorable and completely in love! I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun I had with them! (Hope you two had a good time too!)

It was almost impossible to choose my favorites out of the nearly 50 images, but I'll do my best....

Playground Fun!

As much as I dread going pretty much anywhere with my two toddlers and one infant, I decided to take my kids down to the neighborhood playground yesterday evening while my hubby took a much needed nap.

Can I go anywhere without my camera? Nope! Here are my munchkins, in birth order, having a blast on the swings!

The only acceptable way to swing, according to my son, is on one's stomach. He's becoming quite skilled at this "stomach swinging".

My older daughter likes swings but gets bored fairly quickly if I'm not constantly pushing her.

Aaannnnd...the happy baby. She pretty much just loves everything about life!

My Wee Little Cousin....

No, he's not a newborn. Just a little tike. He was born a preemie, so he's still pretty small at (almost) 2 years of age! He and his parents (my aunt and uncle) came down to visit from Chicago this weekend and I couldn't help but keep my camera handy at all times. What a cutie!
